Discipleship Ministry

SMALL GROUP HOST
The small group host provides a welcoming and comfortable home environment for meeting as a small group. Coordinate any needs with the small group leader. Dates/Times: 2-3 hours per group meeting on the day and time you agree upon with the Group Leader. Groups typically meet September-May.

The small group leader leads a group of 8-12 adults in
pursuing spiritual transformation through prayer, Bible study, sharing their lives, caring for one another, and potentially engaging in serving together.

Care Ministry

Prayer Team Coordinator
Leads the prayer team by recruiting, training, and
supporting members, managing prayer requests, organizing special services, and ensuring an active prayer ministry.
Dates/Times: 3–4 hours per week; additional time for
recruitment and event planning.

Prayer Team Member
Partners with others to provide prayer support for Mosaic Church members and ministries, covering specific needs and engaging in intercessory prayer and special events.
Dates/Times: 1–2 hours per week.

Care Meal Ministry Coordinator
Coordinates a team to provide meals for congregants
experiencing challenging circumstances, managing
communication, schedules, and team appreciation.
Dates/Times: Approx. 6–8 hours to recruit team; 1–2 hours per congregant for coordination; 2 hours/month for leadership.

Care Pastor
Provide Christ-centered care through prayer and regular meetings with care receivers. Requires Mosaic 101
membership, 50 hours of initial training, and a two-year
commitment.
Dates/Times: Monthly meetings, plus approximately 1 hour per week with care receivers.

Family Ministry

Family Ministry One-on-One Buddy
A One-on-One buddy provides individual attention, allowing the child the fullest opportunity to experience God’s love and presence in the community with other children or students.

Kids Small Group Leader
A Kids Small Group Leader creates a space where people can have an authentic encounter with Christ by connecting relationally with kids in preschool – grade 5, helping them grow in knowing, loving, and serving Jesus, building on the foundation laid by the family.

Mosaic Kids Check-in/ Welcome Leader
The check-in/welcome leader provides a warm, welcoming arrival and transition for kids and families while supporting the check-in function.

Mosaic Kids Baby Room Leader
Baby room leaders nurture and caring for children, newborn through two years. Through this care, this leader builds upon the spiritual foundation being laid by the child’s family.

Student Small Group Leader
Student leaders facilitate discipleship of students on Sundays and other specified days of the week.

Retreat Trip Chaperone
As a chaperone you will  help nurture a retreat environment where students have fun and grow closer to each other, to adults who care about them, and to God.

Student ministry Food Coordinator
The food coordinator supports a welcoming and
comfortable environment by coordinating the food during student group gatherings.

Thanksgiving/Christmas Food Box Coordinator
Organize and lead the distribution of holiday food boxes, coordinating teams, logistics, and appreciation efforts.

Plan and oversee mission trips, ensuring training, logistics, and prayer support while leading and supporting the team.

Local Service Projects Volunteer
Serve in local outreach projects, participate in required training, and assist with tasks while maintaining focus on the mission and guidelines.

Event Decor Coordinator
Plan and coordinate creative, thematic decor for church events. Lead a volunteer team for shopping, setup, and

Plan, prepare, and serve food for church events. Lead a team to ensure quality, safety, and cleanup. Participation is flexible based on availability.

Oversee setup and cleanup for church events. Build and lead a team to ensure efficient and timely execution. Participation is flexible based on availability.

Assist with setting up and cleaning up for church events,

Major Event Coordinator
Plan and coordinate church-wide events, overseeing teams for food, decor, setup, and activities to create memorable experiences. Participation is flexible based on availability.

Hospitality Ministry

Coffee Crew Member
Create a welcome atmosphere by interacting with coffee drinkers, making coffee, cleaning the cafe, and alerting the Office Administrator to any issues.
Dates/Times: Sunday morning, 8:15-11:15

Coffee Crew Leader
In addition to serving as a Coffee Crew Member, schedule shifts and communicate those to the Hospitality Coordinator.

Greeter
Be the welcoming face of Mosaic at the doors! Hold open entryways, assist those with mobility issues, give basic directions to visitors, carry umbrellas when needed, and be friendly.

Usher
Help people find seats, take initiative in pointing out openings while strategically leaving and filling gaps. Also assist those with mobility issues in getting to their chair.

Hospitality Team Coordinator
Schedule members of the hospitality and Sunday experience team. Get to know the team, their preferences, and how they communicate in order to welcome strangers in.

Parking Lot Team
Direct traffic to open spots, communicate with other team members when spots are full, and serve as a form of early greeting. Reflector vests provided and required.

Visitor Follow Up Coordinator
Work with Connectors and our online tools to ensure all new visitors are reached out to on Mondays. Indicate to staff and volunteers who they need to contact.

Connector
Keep an eye out for new visitors, and talk to them after
service at our connection points. Be able to answer questions about involvement, collect contact info, and let the Follow Up Coordinator know you met someone new.

Communion Prep
Description: Prepare communion for distribution and
presentation.

Description: Assist with worship by collecting offering, and taking it to the financial area.

YAK Cooking
Prepare freezer meals for Monday dinners.

Arrive early to YAK events to get the party started. Welcome people to the event, give instructions, make announcements, and engage new people. Lead the pack and the party.

Traditional and Unity Choir
The Worship Team Members are vocalists or instrumentalists who are responsible for leading the congregation in
contemporary praise, worship, and scripture songs, hymns, or traditional songs.

Assist with maintaining the church building, including repairs, cleaning, painting, and ensuring systems like plumbing and electrical are in safe working order. Tasks depend on your skills and availability.
